18/50 – Jackie Chen

This is Jackie Chen. He’s the tour de force of China. If you need to get something done you ask Jackie and he calls one of his many ‘friends’ who helps take care of the situation. He’s been one of the most helpful people I’ve had the pleasure of befriending in my young life and I really will miss him. He recently found out that he’s going to be a father in the very near future, and I really wish him all the best.

I’m also breaking the one photo a day habit and posting this photo. After we came back from Hangzhou we realized we really needed to get a move on arranging plane tickets. China moves slowly sometimes, so we would go and ask Jackie pretty much every day if he had had the opportunity to begin the arrangements. One day, Marlie and Josh saw one of Jackie’s nice shirts lying around the office and decided to ransom it back to him. This was the result:

Upon the completion of the request the shirt was returned (freshly washed) to Jackie.
